a family owned firm that commenced in 1992 in Melbourne.
APBC specialises in Melbourne commercial & boutique hotel development, and my sons are now assisting me in taking the business forward - building on 150 years of passion and commitment to property development and construction.
The company is currently working on 6 hotel projects in Melbourne, and have completed one in Sydney.
Each will combine leading edge technologies, architecture and style, whilst incorporating environmental responsibility.
David William Deague was born in Melbourne, Australia on 1st of June 1944.
David graduated from Trinity Grammar School and later married Kristene in 1977. They have four children William, Anthony, Jonathan & Camilla Deague.
David Deague maintained the tradition building the family-owned firm that in 1992, became Asian Pacific Building Corporation, specialising in commercial property development. Deague has etched his brand name on some of the finest boutique hotels and commercial building complexes in Melbourne.
An avid art collector David and his eldest son William started the Art Series Hotel Group, boutique hotels named after Australian artists.
The Deague's love of Australian art inspired the idea. They have plans to open 6 artist themed hotels within the next 12 months.
In 1867 David's Great Grandfather arrived from England and began establishing his reputation as a leading builder in Melbourne.
William Hunter Deague is the eldest son of David Deague.
Pursuing the family tradition he joined APBC in 1995 as a Director and has recently taken the role as Chief Executive Officer.
